Pedals

Argonaut Guitar Components is a platform for making electronics, hardware, and instruments. We’re just like you. We love music, art, and connection. We believe in making things with our hands, exploring ideas, and creating something worth sharing. In the end, our goal is simple: to bring others happiness and create work that feels meaningful, appreciated, and of use.

Cosmodio Instruments is an effect pedal manufacturer launched in 2024 and based in Bedford, MA. Earthquaker Devices

We inspire a lifetime of musical adventures for all sonic explorers.

Do you like effects pedals? We do! Here at EarthQuaker Devices, we like pedals so much that we make them one-at-a-time, by hand, the hard way, in the idyllic post-apocalyptic wasteland metropolis of Akron, Ohio, USA – where the soldering smoke blocks out the sun, and the fiery Cuyahoga River pumps white-hot liquid magma into the steam engine that powers our great riff factory in the sky.

Hangman fx is the unruly brainchild of Paul J. Meredith. Conceived (& still gestating) in a garage in Los Angeles in 2024, we focus on pushing boundaries & innovating in order to bring unique yet useful tools to musicians around the world.

Mask Audio Electronics was founded by Alec Breslow in 2017. Alec found almost every fuzz pedal he ever ran into didn’t go hard enough so he set about creating the weirdest fuzzes he could out of his Attic in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

At Meris, we are a tight-knit crew forged by the ethos: Uniting Art and Engineering.. The core design team is made up of Engineer / Founder Terry Burton, Creative Director Jinna Kim, and DSP Engineer Angelo Mazzocco. All Meris pro audio modules and effects pedals are designed and built in Southern California, USA.

Founded by Zach Broyles in 2010, Mythos Pedals is built around one idea: connection with your instrument. Every pedal draws from classic tones or classic circuits, but nothing about a Mythos pedal gets between you and your playing. Straightforward controls, straightforward function, no unnecessary detours.

Mythos is run by Zach Broyles and Matthew Timmons. When they’re not building pedals, you’ll find the two of them at High Voltage Guitars, their shop just north of Nashville, or on the Mythos YouTube channel. Zach also co-hosts the guitar gear podcast Dipped in Tone.

Non_Human_Logo

Non-Human Audio pedals are built by hand by one person in Albuquerque, NM. All enclosures are finished by hand to give every pedal a unique look. While the circuits and sounds are consistent, every NHA pedal is one of a kind.

I want my pedals to be something special for the people that buy them. It may sound pretentious but I see the process of building a pedal from the ground up with my hands from the same perspective as building furniture, or painting. Taking my time throughout the process and giving each one my personal touch is important.

R2R Electric was founded by Chris Vincent in 2019, out of a love for vintage guitars, amplifiers, and effects. Each effect that is built maintains the overall aesthetic and tone that R2R Electric is known for, but accomplishes it in a slightly different way. This highly-curated process makes every unit distinct and unique. No two R2R effects are identical, but they all have the same tone and vibe that has gained the attention of many of today’s hottest players and collectors.

Red Panda is an independent pedal manufacturer based in metro Detroit. We combine cutting-edge digital signal processing with intuitive, hands-on controls to create unique guitar effects for experimentally minded musicians. Our original algorithms let musicians warp, twist, and transform their sound in ways that feel organic, natural, and musical.

Founded in 2009, Red Panda helped pioneer the shift toward DSP-based boutique pedals with the introduction of the Particle in 2011, the first granular delay pedal. By bringing granular synthesis from the computer to the pedalboard, we helped open up new possibilities for interactive sound design. We continue to take an engineering-driven approach to creating effects that inspire creativity and encourage experimentation.

Summer School Electronics is an effects pedal company based in Syracuse, NY, founded by teacher turned pedal builder, MarkTurley. In 2020, with no kids to teach, and no gigs to play, Mark began building in the Summer and launched Summer School Electronics in 2021. Since then the brand has been on stages, studios and pedalboards all over the world, featuring quality pedals with eyecatching artwork. Along with building and selling stock Summer School Electronics pedals, Mark also teaches pedal building classes around the country, instructing and guiding the next generation of pedal builders.

Supercool Pedals Logo

Supercool Pedals is an independent effects pedal company founded in 2019 by lifelong musician and artist Jamie Muir. Based in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada, Supercool operates somewhere at the intersection of electronics, music, art, and the wonderfully weird.

Rooted in classic circuits but never content to leave well enough alone, Supercool blends unconventional ideas, carefully honed sounds, and modern twists with artwork drawn from the strangest corners of our collective nostalgia. Beneath their playful exteriors, every pedal is a handmade experiment in sound and design, built to inspire curiosity and take creativity somewhere unexpected.

Sushi Box FX makes hand-built tube preamps and effects for bass players, but guitarists keep finding out they work great too. Everything we make has a tube in it, and every tube runs at real high voltage because we believe tubes should be allowed to do tube things. No starved plates, no shortcuts, just tiny glowing bottles stuffed into small boxes and probably more voltage than seems reasonable.
